Youth Development Activities

As a part of my internship, I developed a series of youth development activities for an organization I was collaborating with. I am excited to make these activities widely available for use by community partners. The activities fall under the following six domains:
  1. College and Career Readiness
  2. Health
  3. Media Literacy
  4. Social Emotional Development
  5.  Team Building
The activities were designed to be adaptable for youth ages, 5-13-years-old. Additional tips and strategies for adapting the activities for multiple ages are included.

How to use this resource:

The activities within each domain can be completed in sequence as a curriculum, or independently. There are categories on the side of each activity that describe the skills built through the activity. For example, activities that build communication or listening skills in youth are labeled with communication skills and listening skills, respectively. You may choose activities that address the specific skills you think youth need to work on.
